Dr. Amma Boateng BDS, DMD attended the prestigious Penn Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She also did an advanced program in implant dentistry at New York University college of Dentistry. Dr Amma is originally from Ghana where she obtained her BDS and worked in a UN level 4 hospital in Ghana. She has an extensive surgical background and has done several oral and poster presentations in implant dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the international Congress of oral Implantology, the highest designation within the congress. She is also well versed in all areas of general dentistry including root canals, Invisalign, and extractions.

Dr. Amma has a very calm and empathic approach in treating her patients. She is very skilled in dealing with very anxious patients such that after a couple of appointments with her patients are better able to cope during dental treatments.

For her, the best thing about dentistry is meeting people, listening and understanding their peculiar needs and providing solutions that put a smile on their face.

Dr. Amma is married with two children. She enjoys traveling, music, and art. She is also conducts alumni interviews for the University of Pennsylvania.
